empire.ly — Hub Badge & Network

Two-way authority snippets that keep the whole portfolio linked as one empire: every spoke site links up to the umbrella hub at empire.ly, and across to its sibling sites. The hub links back down to every domain through the directory.

↓ Hub → spokes Every directory card is a crawlable link to the live site (see the hub itself).
↑ Spokes → hub Paste the badge on each site so authority flows back to the hub.
↔ Spoke ↔ spoke The network widget links each site to its siblings from the shared map.

1 · Backlink badge — spoke → hub (up-link)

The badge uses the empire.ly logo hosted at https://empire.ly/assets/logo.svg so it renders identically on any site. No CSS file or JavaScript is required.

2 · Minimal text-only variant

Use this when a site's layout cannot accommodate the pill badge.

3 · Network widget — hub up-link + spoke ↔ spoke across-links

One self-contained snippet renders the hub badge and a row of sibling-site links. It reads the shared map at https://empire.ly/data/links.json (CORS-enabled), finds the current site by its data-self attribute, and links to siblings in the same section. To customise, change data-self to your domain and adjust the number in slice(0,6).

Where to place these

This page is dedicated to the empire.ly badge & authority-flow task. The file lives at embed/empire-ly-badge.html and can be opened directly, or copied into any repo as a reusable component. See AUTHORITY-FLOW.md for the full strategy.
